convenient location quiet room friendly staff
The location proved convenient for visiting shops and parks. I found it easy to catch buses nearby. Parking was adequate after the initial night. Top-floor room was quiet. It faced away from the road. The staff offered a genuinely friendly greeting.

friendly staff big room
the staff were super friendly and helpful i arrived way before check-in time but the room was ready i could offload my bags and start my day. the room was big with a double and single bed the ensuite bathroom was also a good size.

the staff were undeniably cute. the room was clean and tidy. it was like a great value family pub. i found the location perfect for access to various town amenities. separate entry added a layer of convenience.
i found the decor a touch dated. but it scarcely detracted from the overall quality.

perfect location unbelievably cute staff great value
i stayed there for the cheltenham festival and the location was perfect for it. the staff were unbelievably cute and the room was neat! i got great value for my money there!!!
The room was a bit dark. I wish there was an option for a brighter light.

the location was great, just a short walk to the high street. my twin room had a separate entry, which i liked. i found parking with the supplied permit.
there was a slight sewage smell in the bathroom. it wasn't overpowering, but noticeable.

uncomfortable beds sewage smell
The beds REALLY were uncomfortable. i could feel every spring. the bathroom had A smell. It smelled like sewage. I really don't get how that is possible.

great location quiet room separate entry
The location works well. It is just a short walk to the main high street. My room was very quiet, even though it was above the pub, and it had everything I needed. A separate entry exists, away from the main pub door.
There was a smell from the drainage. The rooms and bathroom were clean, but this still spoiled it for me.
